Books


The Research Centre for East European Studies publishes several book series. The series "Analysen zur Kultur und Gesellschaft im östlichen Europa" (published by LIT Verlag, in the past Edition Temmen) presents the results of research projects. The series "Archiv der Forschungsstelle Osteuropa – Quellen zur Zeitgeschichte und Kultur" (Ibidem Verlag) is a guide to the archival collections. The series "Changing Europe" contains the papers presented at the Changing Europe Summer Schools. 

In addition, in the 1990s the institute published the series "Dokumentationen zur Kultur und Gesellschaft im östlichen Europa" (Edition Temmen). Conference papers and works based on recent projects also often appear as stand-alone publications.


Book series: Changing Europe

The book series Changing Europe contains edited volumes dealing with current political, economic and social affairs in Eastern Europe and the enlarged EU. The core of the series is formed by contributions to the Changing Europe Summer Schools, which are being organised by the Research Centre for East European Studies at the University of Bremen.

The series is edited by Dr. Sabine Fischer (German Institute for International and Security Affairs, Berlin), Dr. Heiko Pleines (Research Centre for East European Studies at the University of Bremen) and Prof. Dr. Hans-Henning Schröder (University of Bremen and German Institute for International and Security Affairs, Berlin.
